Prompt inspired by: http://provtyckningar.blogspot.com/

Ja, jag säger då det! or Yes, I forgot about it! is a Swedish/English blog dedicated to quotes, words, pictures, music, and anything else that strikes Eva's fancy. While I cannot recall where our paths initially crossed, I am extremely grateful for this amazing photographer's friendship and for the support she has given me since I began here in the blogosphere.

Don't be intimidated by the blog being in Swedish. Google Translate works fairly well and Eva speaks clearly (and most beautifully) through the universal language of her camera's lens. Please take the time to check it out and support this fellow blogger!:)

My take on this week's prompt:

Cloud Watching 2014

January wind scrubs my cheeks like
my grandfather just before he'd shave
and as I walk this familiar path,
crows fly against the morning gray
to portend subtle changes
rustling the veil.

Still that small child
wide-eyed at her Pop Pop's knee,
I fill my beach bucket
with hourglass sand and begin
to build my castle yet again.

Happy Monday I am here for the prompt! I have noticed that since Greg's eye surgery was successful that you have seemed even more busy. Are you going out and doing more now? This year is looking very strong for my writing even more than I dreamed but G+ is not the world. I am waiting to see if I won People's Choice for POG+ but I doubt it even though it was a wildly popular on my site with real poets. Lol! This is the year I go off G+ and see if my poems have any value or not. I notice some people like technical work on forms and some will like anything! Lol! On my site searches it's amazing people are looking for alterations and acrostics it's great! Lol! See you soon with a poem I hope. I got a good one this week too!

I'm always busy Bekkie and lately it's not easy to get time I'm willing to spend sitting in front of this computer even in the early morning. I'm pulling for your success outside of G+. Take it to the streets and remember that your work has value regardless of whatever response you may or may not get. I'll see you around here and there as I can. I haven't forgotten about you. ;)

Thank you! I'm glad you approve, Eva. I had considered asking first but decided to surprise you instead. Hopefully even more people will visit your site and see what a wonderful person and talent you are. :)
